But when we have given you a quote for the job, our painters can give you a fairly good idea on expected time-frames providing that all outside factors such as weather are taken into consideration. Exteriors provided that they are prepped properly the house paint should last a good 7 to 10 years. What we recommend is a regular chem wash. Basically, if you keep it well maintained and look after it, it should last you a good amount of time. If it's interior, we normally ask for any valuables and furniture to be removed or moved to provide easy access and good clearance for our painters.

Exteriors, there isn't really a lot that you will need to do. If there are any shrubs or trees near the house that need to be trimmed, or plants that need moving. Generally when the painters come to inspect the home for putting together a quote, we will have a good idea of what to advise you of to sort out before our painters begin work.

Normally if the weather is really bad, our painters simply can't continue work until the weather clears up if we are working outside. We keep an eye on the weather and if it is looking pretty bad when we're doing exterior painting work, sometimes it can be better to put it off beforehand since you don't want any paint to come off when it does start raining.

Interiors are for the most part business as usual rain or shine, exterior painting is where weather really matters.
